Porter had the best week . . . soccer camp with his buddies. When we would come to pick them up they'd get my phone and get under the bleachers in the shade and play angry birds space and laugh their heads off. He would be out around 6 or 7 every night after playing so hard.

The Boland's came down from Ellijay on Friday and the girls set up a lan party for their game. Richard was so proud!

Porter got an upset tummy on Saturday and didn't get to hang out with everyone.

Luckily, he recovered and was able to go to church. Richard was home sick however, and I had to teach Relief Society last minute. I was getting into the lesson good and Primary brought Porter into my class. He came in with a big 'ole smile on his face and said I got kicked out of Primary for not being a good boy. What?!? I just looked at everyone in the class and we all just busted up laughing. Elena went out with him and turns out both he and Reese had been sent out. I took this picture of him in the car when I asked him why he got kicked out. He said, "I was laughing and laughing is bad."

It was so pretty outside today I went and sat for awhile. The real heavy humidity has not settled in yet and the sky is so blue!

You Are Not Special Speech - High School Graduation

This is my new favorite - a philosophy I buy into hook line and sinker. I may even play it subliminally for my kids while they sleep. I love that in addition to telling these kids that if everyone is special then no one is, he also talks about what is to be treasured in life. If everyone lived their life with this philosophy, we would live in such a different world. I had to post this for my reference if nothing at all.

Other good advice from the week:

In addition to our bishop blessing a family for hiring a moving company for their move, Brother Bray from the stake gave a really great talk on Agency. He made the statement that "Agency is not permission to make bad choices." On the way home I talked to my girls about this and told them this may be my new catch phrase!

This is my bread maker. My mother in law made it for me after hearing me wish for one. She is amazing and it is one of my most "used" items in my kitchen. I hope she knows how happy it makes me to make bread so easily and how happy it makes my family. I think my most perfect dinner is a loaf of bread and a salad . . we may just be eating it every day in the Spiers house.

Cardyn's award day for 2nd grade. I think we wore that maxi dress the last day of school in 1st grade too. We've got a twin one from her big sister . .we should just make it the official dress for the last day of school for elementary school. I just realized this is the last these two will be at the same school until Savannah is a senior and Cardyn is a freshman. I had to get the last memory of them getting out of the car together. Savannah getting her trophy for having read tons of books this year! Her sweet teacher. Mrs. Shaw I was picking up my house yesterday for the elders to come over for dinner and realized I should check on Porter who had been playing in the front yard. This is what I saw above. How can you get that comfy on a rock!
